Range
Central America;
Two populations;
(1) An isolated population in nw. Mexico (s. Sonora, w. Durango).
(2) Wc. Mexico (Nayarit) to sw. Guatemala.
(3) Se. Mexico (se. Veracruz and Yucatan Peninsula), on the Gulf and Caribbean slope to Belize (Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary), Honduras and the Pacific slope s to nw. Costa Rica (Ensenada).
