Ne. Mexico;
Restricted range;
Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas (Lake Vicente Guerrero), San Luis Potosi and ex. ne. Veracruz.
Introduced in the s. United States (s. Texas in Brownsville area (San Benito, Cameron County), perhaps from wild vagrants, s. California in Los Angeles area and in se. Florida) as well as the West Indies (Puerto Rico) and Hawaiian Is. (Oahu).
