E. and se. Australia;
Three populations;
(1) Ne. Queensland.
(2) Se. Queensland (Lamington National Park), e. New South Wales and Victoria to ex. se. South Australia.
(3) Kangaroo Is.
Introduced to New Zealand (s. North Island, Wellington) and Norfolk Is.
