C. Africa;
Fragmented distribution in the nw. and s. parts of its range;
C. and e. Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic, ne. Zaire, s. Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, w. Kenya s. through w. Tanzania to Zambia, c. Angola and n. Botswana.
