Range

Se. Africa;
(1) Tanzania (Nguru Mountains and Uluguru Mountains se. to the Dabaga and Njombe Highlands).
(2) Coastal lowlands of Tanzania s. of the Mligasi River through Mozambique to e. South Africa (Natal and ne. Zululand, Lake St. Lucia).
(3) Highlands e. of the Rift Valley in Malawi and adjacent n. Mozambique s. to e. Zimbabwe (Inyanga to Mt. Selinda).
A small isolated population in e. Burundi and w. Tanzania has not been assigned any race;
