Two populations;
Western Australia. C. Northern Territory (Alice Springs), c. South Australia, Victoria (Swan Island), New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory (Campbell Park) to ne. Queensland.
Winters n. to Java, Timor and sc. New Guinea and irregularly further n.
