New Guinea, Bismark Archipelago, Solomon Is., n. and e. Australia;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) Bismarck Archipelago.
(2) Solomon Is.
(3) N. Australia (n. Western Australia, n. Northern Territory, w. and n. Queensland.
Winters in s. New Guinea.
(4) E. Australia (n. Queensland to New South Wales (Brisbane area, Sidney area), ex. ne. Victoria and ne. South Australia).
