Coastal sw. Canada and United States. Sw. United States and c. Mexico;
Two populations;
(1) Ex. sw. Canada (sw. British Columbia) to nw. United States (w. Washington and w. Oregon to s. California).
(2) S. California and nw. Mexico (formerly Baja).
(3) Sw. United States in the Rocky Mountains (s. Utah, c. Colorado, mountains of Arizona, New Mexico and ex. w. Texas) to c. Mexico (ne. Sonora, Chihuahua, Nuevo Leon s. to Jalisco, Michoacan and Guanajuato).
