Two populations;
(1) C. Alaska, Canada (n. Yukon, nw. and c. Mackenzie, n. Manitoba, Ontario and wc. Quebec) s. in the mountains of nw. United States (sw. Oregon, California in the c. Sierr Nevada), n. Idaho, w. Montana, nw. Wyoming), c. Canada (c. Alberta, c. Saskatchewan, s. Manitoba) and nc. United States (n. Minnesota, n. Wisconsin and n. Michigan).
(2) N. Europe (n. and e. Scandinavia e. across Russia), n. Asia (n. Siberia to w. Anadyrland and Koryakland) and Sakhalin Is.
(3) Ne. Mongolia (Kentei Mountains) and ne. China (Manchuria).
