Range

C. Central America to n. South America. Amazonian South America;
Two populations;
(1) S. Mexico (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas) to w. Guatemala and w. Panama and w. Colombia.
(2) E. Panama to ne. Colombia and nw. Venezuela. Possibly also in n. Venezuela.
(3) Sw. Colombia, s. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, n. and w. Brazil (w. Para) and s. through the Amazon Basin to e. Ecuador, e. Peru, n. Bolivia and sw. Brazil (n. Mato Gross).
