W. and c. tropical Africa;
Three or four populations;
(1) Sierra Leone, ne. Liberia, Ivory Coast and s. Ghana.
(2) S. Cameroon.
(3) Congo Basin, Gabon, e. Zaire and sw. Uganda.
(4) E. Uganda, Rwanda and ex. w. Kenya (Mt. Elgon).
