Range

Tropical sc. and se. Africa;
(1) Ex. s. Somalia, e. Kenya and ne. Tanzania including Mafia Is.
(2) C. Tanzania, se. Zaire and s. Angola s. to n. Namibia (isolated population in c. Namibia), n. Botswana, w. Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique (Mafia Is.) and ex. ne. South Africa.
(3) S. Mozambique and e. South Africa (Natal to e. Cape Province).
