W. Mediterranean. E. Middle East to se. Asia;
Two populations;
(1) Isolated population in s. Turkey, Isreal and n. Jordan (Yarmuk Valley). S. Iraq? Se. Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan to nw. India.
(2) India, Burma and Thailand.
(3) Sri Lanka.
(4) Ne. Burma to se. China and Indochina.
