New Guinea and ne. Australia;
Two populations;
W. Papuan Is. (Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta, Misool Is.), New Guinea including is. in Geelvink Bay, Aru Is. and ne. Australia from Queensland (Iron Range National Park, Atherton Tablelands at Kingfisher Park, Cairns and Daintree River) s. to Staaten River and Townsville.
