Range

Sw. India. Se. Asia, Greater Sundas, and w. Philippines;
Two widely separated populations with the e. population highly fragmented;
(1) Sw. and e. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, ne. Laos, s. Vietnam and Malaya and the Andaman Is.
(2) Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Bali, Borneo and Palawan.
