Range

W. Mexico to c. Central America;
Two populations;
(1) Pacific slope of nw. Mexico s. from c. Sinaloa to Nayarit.
(2) W. and sw. Mexico (Jalisco to Oaxaca).
(3) S. and se. Mexico (Chiapas and Yucatan), Belize, El Salvador, internal valleys of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and c. Costa Rica.
(4) Tres Marias Is.
