Range

Andes of n. and w. South America;
(1) N. Venezuela in coastal mountains of Falcon, Yaracuy, Carabobo and Miranda.
(2) Nw. Venezuela (Tachira, Merida, Barinas, Trujillo) through Colombia (Serrania de Perija and e. Andes s. to Macarena Mountains, locally in the Magdalena Valley and Cauca Valley and possibly also the n. c. Andes).
(3) E. Ecuador and n. Peru.
(3) C. and s. Peru and nw. Bolivia.
