C. Central America to c. tropical South America;
(1) S. Mexico (Oaxaca and Vercruz) s. to Nicaragua.
(2) E. Costa Rica to Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana, Amazonian Brazil, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and n. Bolivia.
Disperses to e. Brazil (Bahia, Boa Nova).
(3) W. Ecuador and nw. Peru.
