Range

Most of Africa s. of the Sahara;
(1) Senegambia and s. Mauritania e. through s. Mali, Burkina Faso, s. Niger to Nigeria, s. Chad, Central African Republic, se. Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya and s. to South Africa (Cape Province).
(2) S. Nigeria to Cameroon, is. in the Gulf of Guinea, Zaire and Tanzania.
