W. to c. Africa. S. tropical Africa;
Two populations;
(1) Senegambia, s. Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Central African Republic and s. Chad.
(2) S. Sudan, ne. Zaire, w. Ethiopia and n. Uganda.
(3) S. Zaire to n. Tanzania, se. Kenya s. to c. Angola, Malawi and Mozambique.
(4) S. Angola, sw. Zambia, w. Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa (Natal and Cape Province).
