Fragmented distribution;
E. New Guinea (Sepik-Ramu River and Port Moresby areas), n. to se. and w. Australia (sw. and cw. Western Australia, n. and sc. Northern Territory, nc. and se. South Australia, Australian Capital Territory (Uriarra Crossing on the Murrumbidgee River) Victoria, New South Wales and e. Queensland to Cape Melville).
Disperses to the Lesser Sundas (Moa Is.), Sulawesi, Moluccas and Solomon Is. Sw. Sumatra(?) and Java(?).
