Range

S. India and Sri Lanka. Himalayas to se. Asia. E. Sumatra and Java.
Three major popultions;
(1) W. India and sw. Chine s. to Malaysia (Sumatra and Java) and Indochina.
(2) Java and Bali.
(3) S. Andaman Is.
