S. tropical Africa;
(1) Sw. and ce. Angola, sc. and se Zaire s. through Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, ne. Namibia, w. and n. Botswana, w. and s. Mozambique and ex. ne. South Africa (ne. Tranvaal).
(2) S. Tanzania and n. and e. Mozambique.
