Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, n. Somalia (Didinga Mountains and Boma Hills), se. Sudan, e. Uganda and nw. Kenya. Rarely wanders as far s. as Nakuru and ne. Yanda (Mt. Moroto).
