Indian Subcontinent;
Ne. Pakistan and India w. to Kathiawar, Mt. Abu, and n. along the base of the Himalayas up to 1400m in Kumaon (Bhun Tal) e. to the Rajmahal Hills and s. throughout in Rajasthan, Gujarat (Kutch) and Karala, s. Nepal in lowlands to 500m and nw. Bangladesh.
