Sierra Leone, s. Guinea, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, s. Nigeria, s. Cameroon, Fernando Po, Equatorial Guinea, Rio Muni, Gabon, nw. Angola (Cabinda and Lunda Provinces with an isolated population in Cuanza Norte), s. Congo, s. Central African Republic, n. and ne. Zaire, ex. s. Sudan (Aloma Plateau and Bengengai), w. Uganda (Bwamba Forest) and s. to s. and ec. Zaire.
