Range
C. and se. tropical South America;
Three populations;
(1) E. Venezuela (s. Amazonas n. of Rio Orinoco).
(2) S. Venezuela (s. of Rio Orinoco) and n. Brazil (s. to Rio Negro).
(3) Sw. Surinam, s. Guiana and n. Brazil (n. bank of the lower Amazon).
(4) Se. Colombia and nw. Brazil (between the Rio Negro and Amazon).
(5) Ne. Ecuador, ne. Peru, and w. Amazonian Brazil s. to Rondonia.
(6) N. Brazil along the s. bank of the lower Amazon.
(7) E. and se. Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina, Lencois) and Goias s. to Parana), e. Paraguay and ne. Argentina (Misiones).
