S. South America;
(1) C. and s. Chile (Aconcagua s. to Aisen with sight records from Magallanes), and wc. Argentina (s. Mendoza, Neuuen, and w. Rio Negro).
Winters in nw. Argentian and s. Bolivia.
(2) C. and s. Argentina (sw. Santiago del Estero, ne. Cordoba, s. La Pampa and sw. Buenos Aires s. to Santa Cruz).
Winters n. to e. and ne. Argentina and s. Paraguay and possible Uruguay.
