Range

Tropical South America;
Four populations:
(1) S. Venazuela, s. Guyana, s. Surinam, s. Guiana and adjacent n. Brazil.
(2) Ne. Colombia and ex. w. Venezuela.
(3) S. and e. Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina)), e. Paraguay, Uruguay and ne. Argentina.
(4) Ex. se. Ecuador, Peru, c. Bolivia to nw. Argentina.
