Three populations with the n. population being fragmented;
(1) E. of the Andes in se. Colombia, e. Ecuador, e. Peru, n. Bolivia and nw. Amazonian Brazil.
(2) N. Venezuela.
(3) S. Venezuela.
(4) Ne. Brazil.
(5) E. Brazil (Bahia (Chapada Diamantina)), e. Paraguay and ne. Argentina.
