(2) N. Africa (Sahara s. to sw. Mauritania, Senegambia, c. Mali, c. Niger, s. Chad, c. Sudan and nw. Somalia).
(3) C. Syria and e. Arabia and Iraq to Pakistan, and nw. India.
(4) Red Sea area in Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Djibouti.
