Sw. United States; N. Mexico through Central America to n. South America; Cuba; St. Vincent;
Four populations;
(1) Sw. United States (c. Arizona, sw. Utah, s. New Mexico, w. and s. Texas) and Mexico (Cozumel and Cancun Is. off the Yucatan Peninsula) to Panama, n. and e. Colombia from the Gulf of Uraba e. to Guajira s. to n. Huila and e. of the Andes from Santander to Meta), coastal n. Venzuela, Trinidad and nw. Guyana and the West Indies (St. Vincent).
(2) Bay Is. (Utila and Guanaja Is.) off the n. coast of Honduras.
(3) The West Indies (Cuba and the Isle of Pines).
