Cw. South America;
Andes of s. Colombia (c. Andes of Valle and Cauca where it may be only migrant from the s.) s. through Ecuador (Mt. Artisana), Peru, c. and sw. Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba, Oruro, Potosi) to n. Chile (Tarapaca) and nw. Argentina (w. Salta and Jujuy).
