N. and e. India to se. Asia, Japan, the Sundas and Philippines;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) Pakistan, n. India to Malaya, Greater Sundas, and Lesser Sundas (Flores Is.), Sulawesi and the Philippines (Luzon, Mindoro, Cagayancillo, Negros, Samar, Leyte, Bohol, Mindanao).
(2) Sw. India and Sri Lanka.
(3) E. China, Taiwan and Japan.
(4) Ryukyu Is.
