Fragmented distribution;
(1) Sw. Angola s. to coastal Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and ec. Mozambique to s. South Africa (s. Cape Province).
(2) Sc. Kenya, n. and c. Tanzania on Rift Valley soda lakes.
