(1) Iceland and n. Europe in the British Isles and Scandinavia e. across c. Russia.
Winters in Africa and nw. India.
(2) C. Asia in nw. and c. Siberia from the Volga River e. to Transbaicalia, n. Mongolia and c. Manchuria s. to s. Europe, Crimea, Ukraine and sw. Siberia (Altai).
Winters in e. Africa, India, Indochina (s. Vietnam in the Mekong Delta) and Taiwan.
