Range
E. Tropical South America;
Two populations;
(1) Amazon delta region in Amapa, Marajo Is. Brazilian tablelands from Maranhao, Piaui, Ceara, and w. Bahia (Carinhanha) s. to w. Minas Gerais.
(2) Wc. Brazil (Mato Grosso (Pantanal), s. Para, Goias) and adjacent n. and e. Bolivia (Beni, Santa Cruz).
