W. and c. Africa. E. Africa;
Two populations;
(1) Senegamabia, Guinea-Bassau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, w. Nigeria and Niger.
(2) Nigeria, Cameroon, Bioko Is. Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo, Central African Repubic, s. Sudan, sw. Ethiopia, n. Angola, s. Zaire, n. Zambia and w. Tanzania including Fernando Po.
(3) Uganda, s. Somalia, w. and s. Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Malawi, se. Zimbabwe, Mozambique and e. South Africa (Lake St. Lucia, n. Zululand, Natal).
