Winters in c. and s. Africa.
(2) Nw. Africa and s. Europe in the n. Mediterrean region to Turkey, the Crimea, Ukraine, Near East and Middle East (Caucasus Mountains) to the Caspian Sea and nw. Iran.
Winters in w. Africa.
(3) W. of the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan e. to Kyrgyzstan, Tarbagatai and the Altai.
(4) Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan e. to the Tien Shan and Kasthigaria and n. to s. Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
