Sahel zone of Africa;
(1) Senegambia, s. Mauritania, s. Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast, c. Ghana, Togo, Benin, s. Nigeria, s. Niger to c. Cameroon, Central African Republic, s. Chad and s. Sudan.
(2) E. Sudan to w. Ethiopia, ex. ne. Zaire and nw. Uganda.
